Deanos Jalapenos are the newest and most unique snack food available in the universe. The" Jalapeno Chip" was first inspired at The Cactus Café in Stowe, VT by chef owner Doehne (aka Deano) Duckworth. After many years in the kitchen working with all kinds of hot chile peppers, it occurred to me that everyone was trying to make their potato chips taste like jalapenos. Why not just use a real jalapeno!

We use the freshest jalapenos available, shipped dailey from Texas and New Mexico. Our cheddar coating has just the right flavor to enhance the flavor of the jalapeno, which gives it a nice finish to the chip. Once again there are no potatoes used in Deanos Jalapeno Cheddar Chips. The jalapeno chips are at what "we" call a medium heat level, although each batch is a little different depending on mother nature.

Deanos jalapenos are a great snack as well as agreat addition to a salad or sandwich. A great crispy coating for baked salmon or chicken. A great snack for watching the game with your favorite beverage. Looking for something new for Cinco De Mayo? Talk about chips' n' dip. These are a one of a kind snack food and as far as we know nobody but Deanos makes a crispy pepper chip snack food . There was a lot of trial and error, but everyone seemed to think we were on to something. And thus Deano's Jalapenos was born. As they say "there has to be a better way", we think this is it!

We hope to bring you new and exiting flavors in the future as we grow. The "chips" are still small batch hand made at the Cactus Café for Deano's Jalapenos. We hope you enjoy our truly unique one of a kind snack food. Truly a slice of spice in a niche of it's own
